Berbay has coordinated numerous photo shoots for our clients – headshots, group photos for websites and ads, etc. – but we encountered something new the other day. I received a call from a worried client stating that the photographer, who Berbay recommended, was in the building lobby but wasn’t being let up to the firm’s floor. The client is located in a large building where visitors have to check in with security. The issue was that the photographer didn’t have proof of professional liability insurance with him. We’ve never been asked for this before and therefore had not checked with the photographer before the shoot.
The photographer was ultimately allowed up, but it was a learning situation for us and another question to add to our list as we think about each situation.
