Media Campaign Creates Trust and Credibility for Real Estate Investor’s “Opportunity Zone”

Client: Privately held real estate investment and private equity firm

Challenge: The California-based firm acquired a large plot of land in northern Nevada to be used for industrial, commercial and residential purposes. It was critical that the local community be onboard to successfully move the project forward.

Work: Berbay executed a media campaign, including press conferences, press releases and media pitches, for the firm’s executives to discuss the land’s benefits within local TV, radio, real estate and business outlets. We also leveraged relationships with key city figureheads who spoke on behalf of the project to show their support.

Our team knew that it was necessary to showcase that our client was a long-term investor and had a strong reputation for building out communities that continued to grow and flourish. We underscored the client’s prior success and their vision of fostering a prosperous community throughout every aspect of our campaign. In addition to what the land could do for the community, it was a high-potential “opportunity zone” for investors and tenants. We also packaged that the land was a logistical asset for the area based on its access to public transportation and highways, and would be used for residential development designed to bolster the local economy by providing residents with easier access to jobs in their area.

Result: Our media campaign secured positive visibility for the client’s land development and generated interest from both area residents and investors.

The campaign significantly raised awareness about the case, leading to a substantial influx of new clients for the law firm, effectively doubling the number of cases they handled.
