Berbay Marketing & PR Account Managers Megan Braverman and Lauren Shore will present an encore session of “Social Networking: Good Practices and Ethical Issues” to the California Society of CPAs Downtown Discussion Group on August 18, 2010, and to the Los Angeles Chapter Management of Accounting Practice (MAP) committee on September 22, 2010. The presentation will discuss the range of social networking options – from Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook – and how CPAs can use social networking as a business development tool. The Downtown Discussion group presentation will be held downtown at the US Bank Tower from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. The MAP committee presentation will take place at 8:00 a.m. The location will be determined at a later date.
The presentation will also explore the different types of social networking sites available, best social networking practices, as well as the pitfalls and ethical situations that may arise when using social networking.
